  • Well said. On top of all that, he is the President of the United States of America engaging in that position's role as leading representative in the country's interactions on the global stage. Like it or not, that makes his arrogance American arrogance.

  • That explains why you wouldn't be able to see world from beehaw. But world is still federated with beehaw, so you should still be able to see beehaw from world, right?

Of course, you wouldn't be able to interact with anyone there, since they wouldn't see your posts/comments.

  • I assumed we were talking about Musk.

  • That would require not being blinded by his own ego.

  • I agree about that. That makes perfect sense. It's when you start factoring in religion that it all breaks down for me.

  • That makes even less sense. If you don't think you qualify to get into heaven, why would you desire to speed up the rapture? You'd just get left behind anyway.

  • "Make Christianity Christian Again"

  • I honestly find it baffling. If you believe in heaven, why would you fear death? Not saying you're wrong, I just cannot comprehend that mindset.

  • I guess it's technically not bribery if you only defrauded people into thinking they were going to receive a bribe. /s

  • That's one way to shut someone up, lol

  • So he admits to being a witch...

  • That is from Thomas Jefferson:

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." https://www.quotedb.com/quotes/2074

Republicans do seem to be all about the founding fathers, so I guess they're just trying to make it possible to follow his guidance by proactively providing some tyrants.

  • It wasn't really that big a deal. Most of them have more in common than they have differences. If anything, I experienced fewer problems in the age of SVN. It has fewer options than git, but it's also a lot more intuitive and easy to learn, which counts for a lot when your largest limiting factor is your coworkers.

Not saying I want the world to go back to that, just pointing out the hate is really overblown.

  • I never understood the SVN hate. Then, as now, the problems are almost never caused by the tools, and almost always caused by the people misusing them.

  • Unfortunately, I think that 4th branch is supposed to be the people.

  • So say we all.

  • Seriously. "It's fine to mug people as long as you do it confidently and in broad daylight!"

  • So, what you're saying is... You agree with me? Great!
