  • Someone here posted months ago a thing that stuck with me. The next big war will be between the rich and the poor. The rich will win before the poor realize they're in battle.

  • When someone is missing or is a possible threat, they give a description - white 35yo male - or whatever. I get having sex on ID info. I'm old and I'm confused by m/f and why the person needs to change instead of society changing? Can you still be what you medically are but wear, look, alter how you choose? How much is "i feel female" versus "i feel like what society expects female to be" ? I dunno- like I said, I'm old and confused.

  • I disagree. They stop giving bags but they still sell boxes of bags. They're just bags- they carry your next groceries, your lunch, dog poop, bathroom trash, the junk in your car, cat litter, ... Why do we ban bags and then buy more bags?

  • This is going to sound stupid, but i believe that many/some women (this one anyway) see porn slower than men. My husband will catch a nipple shot on tv that I never see until i make him rewind.

  • Didn't they say, "we're entertainment, not news" ?

  • But every night the men would come around...

  • Or put them on a boat off the coast of Venezuela

  • Huh. I have a vegan son who eats a lot of soy. He work out alot but sometimes complains about slow gains.

  • I was disappointed to continue reading and find that it wasn't a community of CBD enthusiasts.

  • How else do we warn others about the assholes?

  • What are soyboys and fashies?

  • Still no idea what that means.

  • There are so many songs that refer to gypsy. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to sing along or not.

  • Somewhere along the way that became southern engineering. My mom lived in Florida for awhile so it was a good dig at both the locals and the duct tape crowd -though i grew up repairing everything with duct tape and bailing wire. My husband is an engineer - right tool for the job guy. I'm like, "pass me that mallet and a wire hanger.)

  • I never thought of it as lazy, just kids that gather and maybe cause a little mischief, especially during school breaks.

  • My family is pretty liberal. Despite that i had a couple of words that i grew up hearing and didn't realize that they meant until i was an adult. When you know better you do better.

To jew someone down when negotiating a price was one. It was just a word and i didn't understand it until i thought about spelling it and realized. Yes, I'm dumb.

I work with kids and i often call them squirrels, monkeys, octopus, big dog, etc. i mean it as endearing and didn't realize that it could be offensive, especially monkey racially.

My grandma worked at a convenience store in very racially mixed, very low income area. She referred to all of the kids as porch monkeys. I thought nothing of it but now realize it can be racially offensive. In her defense, it was a time when kids were sent outside morning to evening and often gathered on the porches of a free homes.

  • I want an app that i can click yes/no or stay/go daily or several times per day to track the data. Seen one of those?

  • I'm in a work relationship that I'm considering leaving. Working in education has become much more difficult. On top of that, new bosses came in a couple of years ago and they're incredibly micromanaging. I'm on a health break right now and may not go back once I'm better and ok switching insurance.

  • It goes in phases. There's an Asian Latin fusion near me that is on my mind lately. The birria bao buns are fantastic!

Our go-to is tex-mex and i love chicken mole, cheese enchiladas, or a good old fashioned crispy taco. If my husband says no to 4 restaurants, we go to a taqueria. Made that rule about 5 years ago and it's never let us down!
