I still have my lg v30! It's not my main phone, but I keep it on for apps and other stuff I don't want to put on my main phone, and the battery still lasts me a whole day with moderate use. And yeah, the last update it had was in 2019. Truly a great company. But for me, the G5 was the GOAT!
LG had the best phones out of the box, hands down. But as soon as they're updated, they turn to shit. Excellent hardware, shitty after-sale support. I think that's what killed their phones.
I find the contrast to be funny. Some of the interactions are friendly where people know each other and ask them how certain events in their personal lives went. Some are just nasty. There is no predicting what you'll get, other than some decent active users that I'm familiar with.
Oh yeah. My instance doesn't allow downvotes, and will give you a warning when downvoting that it doesn't count. And I would be like: what are you talking about, I didn't do anything, and then I'd look and what do you know, I'd accidentally downvoted. It happens way more than I'd like to admit.
And you're right, it really doesn't matter if you get downvoted. It's meaningless especially with a reasonable post like OP's.
