Like most people, I’ve tried many apps, and chose summit because, in addition to it having everything I’m looking for in an app, it doesn’t eat my battery like the other apps. Thunder was good, but it drained my battery so fast, it was just crazy.

So I recently got a new phone, and disabled all google services and downloaded WhatsApp from Aurora store. It worked fine except for the notifications.

Do you have any recommendations? I bought mine in 2014, and they’re still rocking but there is a bit of buzzing when the switch is turned on, and the app isn’t supported anymore.

A while ago, people on Lemmy got messages from this woman saying she’s Nicole, 28, from Poland living in Canada and she called herself the fediverse chick. These messages with different pictures of her continued, each from a different account. Towards the end, some people reported getting some dark messages (I didn’t get any of those, so not sure what they were). And then everything stopped.
P.S. this is just from my memory, and it can be pretty shit sometimes.

Yeah, it’s good to sneeze around people who know you well enough to not disrupt your sneezing, because there’s nothing more frustrating than not being able to sneeze.
Nothing sexier than someone who knows what they’re talking about.
Ha, for me it’s the opposite. I have to cover my eyes, not just close them because I can still feel the brightness through my eyelids, so I have to physically cover them with my hands.
Also, if people talk I can’t sneeze either. So if I’m around people I’m comfortable around, they know I’m about to sneeze and stop talking. That’s very sweet of them.
I used to use it as well because it was the closest to rif, but it had a lot of limitations compared to summit, I’m glad I made the switch.
