It’s more comforting for people to think it’s a choice they make rather than something completely out of their control that may happen to them at any time. And it comes with a bonus that they feel superior “making” the right choices in life.
Yeah I could see something like that. It would be similar to log in with Google or Apple. They would be a trusted 3rd party that has the responsibility of validating age and they just pass on a pass or fail to the site.

Just goes to show how deadly our streets are designed that the prosecution thought it was so completely obvious that the environment is too dangerous for a 7 and 10 year old pair of kids to navigate.
Without his money he’d be the most random, grubby, conspiracy theory loving pot head from high school. But when you’re rich everything is seen as “genius” and “innovative”.
Really anyone who seeks the amount of power upper government provides tends to be a sociopath. Same with billionaires. Well adjusted people call it quits at $10m or city mayor. I think the government needs to be way flatter than it is.
Does that happen in a meaningful amount? Drivers getting multiple orders for the same place with close by destinations? I think it’s vastly more common that you just have 10 drivers at different locations on behalf of 10 customers.
