Cloudflare's reverse proxy has been great. Although I'd rather not have it at all. I've casually looked into other alternatives like a WAF on local machine, but have just stuck with cloudflare.
There is a significant amount of steps that happen, in order for a large ship anchor to drop... On one previous occurence. The ship dragged anchor underway for a significant amount of nautical miles.
While likely, windows is beginning to look like adware. The popups after logins and others are engineered (deceptively IMO), to lead you into more MSFT products. They intentionally hide or obscure anything, but the outcome they want sometimes.
When I've read the "hacked" headlines. I thought to myself "They couldn't have just highlighted it in black.. right?". Can't tell if incompetent or chaotic good.
It's a tax on US citizens without government issued photo ID's.
