Being a bodyless head with a freak long tongue is not only okay—it can be an exciting opportunity

  • The purity test bullshit on the left

    Dems aren't on the left

  • idk...

  • We're on their side!'

  • racist

  • Oh you don't wanna do that? You're complicit.

Libs don't want to accept this- painting it as an uncivil attack relieves them of the cognitive dissonance such thoughts cause them. Banning someone to resolve your own insecurity is obv PTB territory

I do feel like you should know better than to say that, unprompted, directly to a lib mod tho, so it's at least a little bit BPR imo

  • hes sewing chaos that means hes actually a anarchist

  • You may not be trying to misgender Harris, but using object pronouns as if they're an inherently bad thing is pretty insensitive to those who use it/its pronouns

Also, dehumanizing the enemy is pretty slippery rhetoric. You can admit/accept that they're people while advocating for violence against them regardless

  • Damn this is so true. I did go find that comment just to downvote it tho bc I think it's funny

  • I think it's well established at this point that anarchists and 'auth leftists' have a different definition of authoritarian (and 'state' for that matter)

It seems similar to that old debate about 'reverse racism' vs racial prejudice- the sociological definition of racism includes oppression, but the dictionary definition didn't/doesn't, so people were largely arguing over semantics

  • "Anti-authoritarian leftists" are just anarchists, right? Literally every anarchist I've ever known is constantly shitting on liberals, very often specifically about authoritarian behavior/policy

  • scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds

  • This is pretty fucked up actually. "Narcissist" doesn't inherently equal "abuser". It's a condition that people often need help for

  • This feels like it's about something- AI, social media, substance use... I might be reading way too much into this, but this functions as a really fun metaphor for the human tendency to rationalize the pursuit of unhealthy desires by deliberately entering contexts that blur risk perception

  • I've actually done this and it was genuinely good- tasted like pizza
