  • Well they're gunning for building affordable housing, a lot of it. I wouldn't say they have been left out no. A lot of Canadians decided that they dIdNt wAnT WoKe TrUdEaU and his spending and were actually prepared to go vote Pierre into office.... Like that would have fucking helped lol

The most important thing about not voting for Pierre is that he has openly stated that he is not against using the not withstanding clause nationally just like the other conservative premiers across the country. For shit that isn't a national emergency at all

  • His book does a great job at explaining economics and how they work. As we look forward to expanding trade and beefing up our own infrastructure to reach other markets and expancld domestically, Carney has this exactbtype of mind to handle it while also championing progressive causes like climate change and helping turning them to profitable endeavours! Truely fascinating read and even if you could get an audiobook I highly recommend

  • He was governor of the BoE during Brexit.... There really isn't much you can do as a governor of the national bank in such stupidity. And Canada can absolutely be a super power, our landmass, resources and technical know-how can allow us to prosper and lead on the global stage. Canada is a great example of a country of the future, where we don't rely on wars to settle differences. Carney supports childcare, dental care, boosting the GIS for seniors, pharma care, and everything the liberals did under trudeau minus the consumer carbon tax. And he's replacing it.

  • The liberals literally do have something to incentivize green energy and buying green products in their platform. The conservatives have nothing at all because the conservatives at their last leadership meeting voted no to acknowledge that climate change is real 🤡

    Oh and the liberals are running on keeping the emissions cap in place??? So when you say no party has a climate plan are you talking about the cons, greens and NDP?

  • Uhhhhh no. The liberals have clearly stated that with the removal of the CONSUMER carbon tax, there will be a replacement. And that is rebates and grants to encourage people to buy greener and more energy efficient products. Believe me, I would rather the consumer carbon tax stay and collect my rebate checks as I reduce my carbon output and gain more and more of that money back. But were dealing with a hostile conservative government that has skewed Canadians perspective on the program which is atrocious.

    Mark Carney ain't perfect but he's smart as fuck and he clearly believes that people worshipping the market is bad and that we should me making markets work for people and not people working for markets. The liberals made it mandatory that all new non commercial vehicles sold in this country to be electric (or hybrid I'm not sure) by 2035.
