  • Just call it what it is fraud and a criminal organisation. Someone in the government or civil service authorised the payment for the goods after delivery. It's not about returning the money it's about sending a message, reclaim what you can an jail everyone involved. If this was anyone else for smaller amount of money and not linked to the government it would have happened already.

  • I assumed it was like cream separating from milk, only wax from honey, but to be fair I have never really thought about it much

  • I actually found a positive use today, I needed a corporate bullshit intro to a document as to why the company is great and how we will apply the content. In under a second I had perfect corporate bullshit that to be honest sounded good. If I was to do this myself it would have taken ages as I don't speak corporate bullshit, and I'm really poor a generating it. Thanks ai 👍

  • I've just seen both an itx and a mini atx case with glass panel for ~£30 it's just easier

  • They can see where, it's dark

  • Not a doctor here, if it's warm to touch it's an infection, draw a line around it in pen with a time and day, then In a couple of hours do it again. If it gets bigger, starts leaking puss or fluid got see a doctor like now.

  • A website or page called Toni the pit pony, had a picture of the pony in the centre and around the outside buttons that said stuff like "he said it is but I bet it isn't" but in a coalmining accent so "ee sez e iz buh e bet eenizzant" when pressed it played the audio of some old miner saying it. Fantastic but sadly lost to the depths of time. It's from around late 90s

  • If I had to guess it's because Microsoft wants the memory protections that rust gives. Which would make windows more stable and less hackable? Meaning more money

  • Wait what did I miss, Ubuntu changed sudo for the sake of changing sudo?

  • 1.7million x $10 for one month is more than if they would have got sued (more if it's the higher tier), then add in the bad press.

  • It's also kind of squished on some racking, and with it been a 4u rack case full of HDD it's quite heavy. If you have made it this far in to the garage, you not only have done well but passed the beer collection and numerous cordless power tools. It also has a sign saying beware of the leopard.

  • Door lock and house alarm, also mines at the back of the garage with plenty of more easily stealable things in front of it.

  • I don't quite get it, I'm in the UK and a standard 7kw charger can be configured to charge at any rate. So what you could do is when demand is low pump out 7kw and when demand is low drop back to say 1kw. The benefit is you can balance the demand by removing a vehicle sooner that would otherwise added to the load later, giving everyone more charge and further reducing load on the next day. It's literally what my electric company does across every charger linked to there network. Although they do it so they can schedule all the charging to happen at the cheapest hours, giving me a lower price for charging.

The same also applies to a 11/22kw charger, 3phase but most houses don't have 3phase supply and most cars top out at 11kw on ac.

  • In general any new law that's is aimed at protecting children is a bad thing, and that's the problem there are plenty of other ways that would stop child exploitation, but no go for the symptom and not the cause

  • Start by banning religion, then start taxing everyone fairly including companies. Then just be nice to everyone.

  • For further maths at A level we started with about 10 people, one "normal" maths class and one statistics class later, we had dropped to 3 people
