It's only my theory however; it's comes down to babys and education, if your population is making babys and lots of them at a young age, things like education and quality of life can suffer dues to having to support kids. Lack of education leads you to belie ving in propaganda more easily. Also lack of education makes you more likely to have kids younger and in less than ideal financial situation. More kids with less education, means it's easier to populate a military. Hopefully you get the idea and sweeping generalisations I've made. Now homosexuals and by proxy transgender don't produce children (ignoring adoption etc etc) so they aren't what the dictators want and they also might give the heterosexuals ideas about not have kids, or at least delaying it, getting and education etc etc. then add in a sprinkling of religion, also good to control uneducated masses, and you have the perfect population for dictator/fascist control

Nothing to do with social media, all to do with at what point and electric bicycle becomes an electric motorcycle and the lack of laws and regulations keeping up with it. It used to be easy if the thing was making a noise, due to petrol engine, it's a motorbike. It's happening in every country and it feels like Chinese manufacturers are making all the money whilst the rest of the world catches up.
Story time: in the mid 90s an IKEA store opened near by, the trolleys required a £1 coin, people would just either forget about the £1 as no where else was doing it at the time, or just think I can't be arsed taking the trolley back. Cue teenage me, every time we went to IKEA I would come out of the carpark with between £10-£15 before my parents demanded I get in the car. It then evolved in to people connecting multiple trolley so only one person lost a £1, eventually they had a guy in vehicle and trailer pick them up after removing the coin lock from all the trolleys.
They have definitely taken my edits on osm and added to Google maps. Some farm buildings got demolished and housing built on the spot. I was the one who added the buildings in the first place then removed then as they got demolished, then added roads new outlines etc. Google has the road going through the farm building. On the licencing front I've got no idea
They definitely take additions from osm however Google seems incapable of noticing changes or deletions for osm. Which as led to some roads going through new houses near me. So I'd be cautious if they provide mapping data back to the project
That's what I love about Linux, it is a desktop, it's a media player, it's a server, it's a backup device, it's a router, it's a firewall, it's everything everywhere.
It's literally the only use for it, the only content that is usually blocked uk->us is news articles, and who wants to read half of that garbage
