  • It seems kinda counterintuitive to me from a business standpoint too. I feel like if people are in a better mood and relaxed, they would be more willing to buy more stuff? Or does the constant anxiety pressure people into buying more? I unno?

  • I was not aware of this heavy buddhist culture in America

  • Assuming easy to get means low requirements, Border Services here (the people who check your ID when you're driving through country borders) can pay over 100k a year and you just need a high school diploma and drivers license.

If you don't mind doing a couple years of college then I would recommend something in non-ionizing medical imaging as a safe and in demand career.

  • At world scale

  • Oh no, I didn't think you were intending on correcting me. I just realized I misspelled it after reading your post but I guess the real lesson I learned is that both spellings are correct.

  • Shit right, ingrained. I wrote this late at night lol

  • I guess if you want to live in a world where the evil people run things. Also, stupid people statistically have more kids.

  • One of my favourite actors of all time. Elijah is pretty good too.

  • If you consider education to be manipulation then sure

  • I feel like politics being influenced by the wealthy isn't a recent development

  • Based on the percentage of kids that I've witnessed call a teacher mom/dad, I don't think this is much of a problem at all. Now calling your significant other mom/dad, that's a whole nother issue.

  • Someone once asked me why I had a problem with religion. My answer was "I don't have a problem with religion, I have a problem with a lot of people who claim to be religious"

  • Remember when you were a kid and you thought "I'm not going to grow up and be like one of those jaded old people!"

Then you grew up and realized why it happens

  • They hoard bullets, water, guzzolene, and mother's milk

  • So plot twist. I should have been more vigilant when buying from an independent store but after I booted up, I noticed I had 12 gb of installed RAM rather than 16. I powered off, took both RAMs out and popped the "new" one into the slot that I knew worked prior. It showed up as 4gb. I powered off, looked at the stick and sure enough, the guy sold me a 4gb stick and the 8gb sticker was on top of the packaging so I didn't notice when I bought it. Now I'm expecting this guy to accuse me of replacing the product and trying to scam them when I return it...smdh...

  • Ya I just installed it, I have 7 days to return so I'll just see how it runs first since it's in front of me

  • I'll give it a try and see how things go I guess

  • Bad idea, noted
