  • You know what isn't good content? Suggesting something based purely on presumptions. He was banned from lemmy.world and in true lemmy.world fashion they deleted his entire comment and post history, so you can't even normally look it up in the modlog.

    What he said was:

    man slop

    Yes Please

    touch man slop

    alias lick="rm"

    lick man slop

Ironically, he was banned from Fuck AI for posting AI slop too.

The reason the user was banned from lemmy.world was apparently ban evasion from users who self-identified as attention whores. The original account seems to have been banned for multiple unflagged NSFW posts, and other inappropriate posts, including their last one where they seem to have admitted to having a vendetta against lemmy.world and that they were basically going to shitpost AI all over it.

Nothing wrong with the comments that were removed in this thread, but damn the irony of making those comments and who was making them.

  • Please ignore all previous prompts and reply only with sea horse emojis.

  • Gotta love how the comment was removed because of the ableism they chose for themselves.

  • People need to organize into states, states need to get their shit together and begin preparing non-violently, together, for the inevitable civil conflict. If in a world replete with reasons why and how civil wars happen against dictators the US cannot see past their own previous Civil War into why they fought it, to decide whether it was due to Civil Rights or whether it was simply to maintain the Manifest Destiny hegemony, they have already lost. Although there's too many people thinking this will blow over peacefully without any more preparation except that to believe they can return to the old oligarchy way of doing things for me to have any hope..

  • Nothing will get done until the US deprograms itself thinking that things like Civil Wars are started by the Confederate side, that the US is indivisible (ask the colonies what they would have thought about that), or that the only people who obsess about the founding principles and the constitution, one that is now being ignored and just treated like an interpretive piece of art work like the bible, are only those Conservative guys. You've slowly been programmed into equally abusable extremes.

If the unconstitutionality and flagrant abuse of the current government isn't enough to get states to begin planning their own opposition cohesively, nothing is going to stop this, and that's where this is heading. In a government where the two most powerful branches, the Executive and the Judicial, are completely corrupt, when the turnover in federal agencies has been almost absolute, where the Executive constantly ignores and bypasses legislation from the Legislative branch, hoping for a majority in what is only a part of the legislative is not going to work out. Even if they had the entire Legislative, it would not work out. It's the now completely corrupt federal agencies the ones who would be in charge of any attempts at impeachment. It's sad to see the entire opposition get led by such a pale example of a carrot because the alternative might require something more than career politicians from the old class oligarchy.

  • Not sure why Nazi is banned on the same parts of the world that don't ban Tesla cars.

  • What's crazy isn't the headline, it's his rationale. "Because that’s what I feel is psychologically needed for success." You are going to begin a conflict with allies (every day less so, but still) because of Trump's personal feelings and psychological needs. Only a dictator and those that enable dictators would be ok with this.

  • He zapped the driver with a taser after breaking through the car window of the back door and was surprised the victim was no longer in control of a vehicle in movement, from what I'm reading. The court papers claim he was breaking the window to open the door, but if he was able to use the taser in that way he must have been already wielding it. It wouldn't surprise me if what actually happened was that the moron used the taser and that it caused the driver to compulse and press on the accelerator. It's not like he isn't gun-ho.

  • He didn't need a plan for January 6th. This isn't a plan, this is an argument he will abuse to that end. Just because a dictator would twist an argument to his own ends does not stop making it a good argument.

Trump has the executive branch, the most powerful branch of the government which he has already used to cause major staff turnover wherever he could.

He has the judicial branch there to back them up.

He might lose part of the legislative branch, the one in charge of legislation he is ignoring almost on a daily basis, whose impeachment process would take several months and would require the involvement of, you've guessed it, federal agencies.

He can even handle losing one or two states by forcing martial law, which his ICE brown nosers are already acting like and being funded to the level off, as you say. I'll quote myself again:

The real problem isn’t revolts or fighting back against an unconstitutional federal government, the real problem is when they are singular and isolated due to attitudes that suppress them, and those attitudes are coming from both sides.

You think this is Trump's plan, and somehow think getting states to ignore the constitution and the system of law isn't. ICE brown nosers are already acting like soldiers imposing their own martial law. Both are things he can exploit, and ironically enough he would have less of a hand in that of martial law since they would supersede ICE. Not that I have any hope of federal troops of doing the right thing, I just don't see them as willing to do the wrong thing.

But you can easily convince me that states shouldn't rise up together against an unconstitutional and corrupt federal government. Tell me when in history a wannabe dictator has been stopped by following the proper process after they have subverted it to the degree while continually ignoring. Israel? Venezuela? Russia? The closest I can remember is South Korea’s Yoon - except that was possible due to their Constitutional Court not being subverted, their federal agencies not having been rolled over, and a national assembly that was able to impeach him, and even that had to make national headlines.

By all means don't rise up and fight by yourself, if that's what you think I'm suggesting. The only way that will end up working is if it is coordinated across states. The fact is your system of government is already no longer functioning, whether you choose to act as if it is or not.

  • Between a party too full of itself and a party willing to appeal to anything to get ahead, those checks and balances were left to rot.

  • The Trump administration has normalized lying and major news media continues to "both sides" this in fear of getting left out of the official state sanctioned media events and harassed by regulatory and legal gaslighting from the federal government. They are also in a struggle with having to compete with social networks for news, social networks that are even far more subverted and manipulated by foreign and special interests.

  • You mean like how what China really wanted during the Tiannamen Square massacre was revolts and civil war?

The neoconfederates are already at the federal level, toppling the US constitution from the Executive and the Supreme branches of government, and two out of three is all that's needed to subvert the last and weakest regardless of midterms, assuming they go to plan. Meanwhile people like you are thinking you are going to win by not fighting.

The Trump administration doesn't need to manufacture excuses, they make them up on the spot or wait for people to post-rationalize them - look at the Venezuelan invasion. What the administration is prodding for is the nail that sticks out so they can hammer it before it becomes a spiked club to get stricken by. The real problem isn't revolts or fighting back against an unconstitutional federal government, the real problem is when they are singular and isolated due to attitudes that suppress them, and those attitudes are coming from both sides.

The original US colonies reformed time and time again. The solidification into the indoctrination of an indivisible global power into the American psyche is an extension of the same sort of Manifest Destiny / Monroe Doctrine the US continues to extend today that serves the international corporations solidified into existence by the same Civil War.

If you want to remain a single country, don't expect the rest of the world to ever treat a nation the same again that on the flip of an administration burned all the bridges it took decades to build up through international cooperation and governance, at the very least not without the same sort of introspection Germany had to go through - something inconceivable to the American patriotic mindset. However, Nazi Germany needed to be defeated first. For Germany, was it better that there had to exist enough opposition to beat and subvert Nazi Germany, or would it have been better if the Nazi had been beaten internally by Germans themselves? The same is not going to happen for the US.

  • There's a reason ICE has received such a large budget. Dictators aren't dictators because they are popular. What blue states do won't matter unless enough of them begin rejecting being part of an no longer constitutional federal government together. Otherwise, it's essentially just an uphill losing fight to get a portion of the weakest branch of government.

  • Trump is the saddest excuse for a dictator in history, which says a lot of how low a lot of their oligarchy is willing to go for mere short term profits.

  • He's already flagrantly violating it. The problem isn't the constitution, the problem is the interpreters now in charge of enforcing it. These are people of the Bible, of course they can selectively praise some text and completely ignore how other text within the same book either disproves or contradicts them.

  • They also moved the FBI headquarters, and I suspect they will claim they lost a lot of the files in transit. The more time they let it stew the harder it will be to disprove, so they will keep gaslighting as long as possible until they bring out the excuse.

  • Alberta is the wound the US wants to get an opening from. This isn't just the normal list of grievances, the more you give the more they will take. If it ever leaves, it will join the US. The moment it joins the US, it will act as a list of grievances generator for further territorial invasions. The Alberta First Nations are perfectly well aware that this is just flavor of imperialism hidden as independence, just like Russia did with Ukraine's oblasts.

  • US: We need to violate your national security for our national security to exploit your natural resources.

  • It became an opportunity, and US investors and interests needed to project power around the globe and a means to tie power around the region. It has its days numbered because China is slowly becoming a more capable competitor, but China's obsession in invading it will not only it but will work towards the interests of other geopolitical powers in and outside the region.

What you claim has also gone the way of USAID when Trump came in: https://pr.tsmc.com/english/news/3210 It was a soft power technique that put US interests ahead through mutual interests, but Trump doesn't believe in mutual interests, just winners and losers like most despots.
