My family lived across the Red River from Barksdale AFB, not a far drive at all. Barksdale is a SAC base, and a known target for Soviet missiles. Our plan at the time was if we had enough notice that the missiles were actually falling, we'd get in the cars and drive as close as possible to Barksdale so we could, hopefully, be vaporized.

I'm using Pop!_OS, and it's pretty much made with gamers in mind. Steam works well enough for me in it. It has Lutris already installed, and I'm playing ESO through it. These are just my experiences, though.
