  • I don't feel like it is even a shipper thing. Most of the show has Lucy repulsed by Natsu and them giving the vibe that Lisanna and Natsu are a thing and she's just waiting out for when he, you know, grows up enough to actually be a partner.

    Then I read it again... Erza keeps Gajeel in his place, gray and evergreen match up reasonably well in demeanor, can't say much about cana mystogan, ....I'm really not sure about natsu x juvia, elfman and kinana is good, and Lisanna and mature, humbled laxus is actually a really good pairing. Lucy and droy?

  • I was mad the whole episode except when they mentioned it was affecting the Klingons, and basically finished the episode in the hopes that they would show that.

    And it more than paid off. That scene was magical.

  • I don't have alot of issues with either, they don't effect me either way (though affect and effect are two different words with distinct meaning, but I don't think having them as distinct words is necessary. Plenty of words have noun and verb variations). The "effect as a verb" should really go away, though. It only breeds confusion.

  • I have never come across a situation where the word "less" being used instead of "fewer" led to any kind of confusion. The "rule" is nonsense and doesn't add to the language.

    I'm generally a fan of stricter guidelines to language to prevent it from losing meaning (e.g. if "literally" can mean "figuratively," we no longer have a word for what "literally" is supposed to mean). But rules for the sake of rules (e.g. don't end a sentence on a preposition) that don't add anything to the language is ridiculous. The point of language is to convey information. If the rules do more to get in the way of that communication than help it (like "it's actually fewer, not less" in the middle of a discussion), then those rules are bad and should be ignored.

  • Seriously. This all sounds exhausting. It was probably a good move to loop in the manager. If it were me, I probably would have just stepped back from them and kept my distance, as I have little energy for drama, but taking a more proactive approach was probably smart.

    But yeah, you OP did the smart thing, now the next smart thing is just step away from all of it. Keep some distance and let the manager/director sort it out.

    But if you trust The Joe Rogan Experience as a News sources, you're a moron of the highest degree. It doesn't even set itself up as that. Joe Rogan himself regularly refers to himself as an idiot and you shouldn't follow what he says, he's just giving an opinion. The opinion of someone with no expertise. Whose claim to fame is as a comedian and such high-brow commentary as UFC fights and making white Americans eat bugs and bumble about in the dark.

  • I feel like I have a Fallout style health bar, but instead of rad counters it's old age counters. My max available HP drops over time, with the space being filled up with pain. Not to mention permanent debuffs like "arthritis," and "bad knee."
