  • Nope. This is a good example of the DNC always pushing who they want and that's my point. If it's not Harris it will be someone else. People need to vote in the primaries.

    We're also seeing a shift in who people vote for and voter turnout (see NY and TX).

  • He's showing he's trying to be a real threat. Now they're sending in the military to scare Venezuela into a good deal for resources or else.It won't work. Internally, Congress is already calling out the illegality of attacking the boats. Congress won't allow a war and has already figured this out enough to tell the military to not follow illegal orders. It's still a sticky situation, but Venezuela's best move is to warn people and wait it out.

  • When I was a kid, I got a Japanese N64 imported to the US. I tried to put a US cartridge in but it didn't fit. My friend and I cut out the plastic inside where the cartridges go that was physically blocking and it worked.

    Companies sold some kind of extension to get around this but we didn't want to wait.

  • They should release consoles when there's a significant leap in hardware that devs are waiting to take advantage of. The last few console releases have been boring. Don't get me started on not only the lack of games but the lack of new types of games. Too many remakes and remasters demanding high prices.

  • This is how I feel as well. A new PC or even a new console was a gigantic leap forward in both visuals and gameplay. We've had a couple decades of diminishing returns.

    I think the next big leap will be something along the lines of AI building out the stories, missions and dialogs "on the fly" creating incredible amounts of immersion where no two playthroughs have to be the same.

  • Way too much can definitely cause hallucinations and aS you experienced,, can cause some really horrible experiences. If you ever want to try again, start with an extremely low dosage - low enough where you don't feel anything.

    There are more options out there if you really want to break free from addiction before more damage is done. It's worth it.
