  • I have very good health insurance from my company for my family...wait times are still months and months. When I needed a CT for what the wife and I thought was a damn brain tumor, was a 3 week wait...for a fucking possible brain tumor. My insurance is what is considered Cadillac health insurance. It's stupid expensive.

    Yet I have wait times longer than any single payer western healthcare.

    All the old guys from back in the day that weren't total fuckin bricks, played a TON of games. They're basically the groups that invented them. Afterall they didn't have TV and video games. So when you bump into one of the ones that didn't...99% of the time it was because they where to fuckin stupid to know how to play, so they just acted like it was dumb.

  • Not saying you should, I was just pointing out that you can get Internet/connection to your garage/workshop for like $100 these days. I'd assume most shops with that large of a footprint have some sort of IT service, in house IT, or buying it from a vendor that has that setup already.

    I've got a 5ghz bridge between my garage and house, and it goes through 2 trees and still gives me around 900mbs. It's over 350m away too.

  • I'll have to dig around for it. It was a legit paper posted from one of those vape forums back in the day when people where building their own vapes. I was really surprised about it.

    But that covid/flu paper doesn't surprise me. I'm betting minus the staining you're talking about, you're gums are probably in better shape than others who don't vape as well. As I know it killed bacteria as well.

  • Interesting, the study I read, which was like 10 years ago now, when I was vaping, showed that it was still a common thing in hospitals to help curb mrsa infections, and why the air in a hospital usually has a weird feel/taste to it.

    That residue is basically from VG/PG buildup with whatever flavor you're using. I'd be curious if it happened without any flavoring at all. I suspect it wouldn't build up at all.
