I believe this new project should hit your need quite well!
Papra is quite new in the selfhosted sphere but a welcome addition. Yet to test it myself but it sounds and looks very promising > https://github.com/papra-hq/papra
Kingdome Come Deliverance has to be my all tile favourite video game. Its unlike anything I've ever played. Just started playing KCD2 and the intro gave goosebumps all over. Hope you enjoy the game to its fullest!
They did mention that Alex will join Linux Unplugged podcast occasionally to talk about self-hosted relevant things, plus they tend to all be talked about their experiences around self-hosted - especially in the bootleg edition.
Sennheiser HD600 if you're able to get them on a sale. Otherwise they might be too expensive. These are known to be the gold standard for audio. Would highly recommend. Otherwise the PC38X are also a great budget pick!
Personally I steer away from Bluetooth when it comes to gaming. While there probably are some gold headphones out there for it, my experiences have not been that good. Go with the cord for a better experience!
If it's one thing I don't trust its non-EU companies following GDPR. Sure they're legally bound to, but l mean Meta doesn't care so why should the rest.
(Yes I'm being overly dramatic about this, but I've lost trust ages ago in big tech companies)
Yeah same here, no idea how to tell this is AI made...
[Meta] !PurchaseWithPurpose@lemmy.world, the community dedicated to visual guides listing alternatives, has been revived! The guides also mention this Lemmy community at the bottom
Check out Migadu. Its by far the most affordable option out there I've found, at 19€ per year. Its also highly customizable but it does require a custom domain. Highly highly recommend!
Kinda wish we could pin this post to the top of everyones feed for a while! 😅 Lemmy has been a great place so far but think we can do even better. Especially with the points you bring up.
It does have a learning curve for sure, but once you get it, its defo more fun.
