  • I've never understood the "more people eating at home" argument for hight food prices. The same amount of food is being bought even if a restaurant is buying less. Like food magically doesn't get eaten or needed more based on people eating at home or eating out. The food would just be going to the grocer instead the restaurant directly. Or am I misunderstanding this?

    If you don't know what it's like you can't miss something, ya know? But there are experiments that are trying to give visualisations to aphantasia folk. I'm not sure I'd try it because then I would be missing something.

  • That's a fair point but HoloLens also didn't block your vision to the environment. I imagine with today's tech, it would've been able to deliver comparable or at least 80% of the image quality while still not needing passthrough and still allowing you to pin screens everywhere.
