  • So that's why windows always has the wrong time after I've been in my Linux install...

  • They don't want in, they setup camp outside the doors and pick fights with people who walk by. So staff are probably "closing" the entrances so people don't accidentally walk out into a warzone.

Canada geese are evil mean bastards

  • But it's usually produced by processing oil instead.

  • The comment you quoted has zero issues, and just paints you as a crazy fucking psycho.

  • The man is an asshole and stain on society, his death would likely marginally improve the world's future outlook.

  • See, you and I may think things like this are obvious but there are some idiots out there that need to be told the obvious things otherwise they end up doing the truly stupid things.

  • Sure but that's not what the comic is about.

The comic is pointing out casual racism in how the question asked to two women in the same position at the same age are asked vastly different questions based solely on their race.

  • It's not odd at all that people are willing to take the vaccines. Hundreds of doctors and scientists have been involved in the process of determining how viruses work, how the body fights them how we can use that to improve the bodies response and then how to safely package that for delivery to every person in the country.

There is no blind faith here except for that of doubters, just literal thousands of hours of dedication and science.

  • YouTube, google drive, Any readthedocs site with more than 1 page

  • Go suck some more tump cock you fascist fuck

  • The moon also doesn't orbit at the same plane as the earth around the sun, so sometimes it's above the sun and other times it's below

  • Also "car free" doesn't have to mean literally zero cars allowed, but just build and layout the city so you never have to use one for daily errands.

I live next to a grocery store and it's literally the best thing ever, grocery trips take 10 minutes max, I only end up using the car on weekends for hobbies or to visit family and friends.

  • CFCs

    Jump
  • There wasn't much of a real "threat", in that planes wouldn't fall out of the sky. but banking systems would probably get quite confused, and potentially lead to people being unable to access money easily until it got fixed.

  • Guess what, Canada sets the freezer at -15 Celsius. The USDA just chose 0F because it's good enough and a nice easy to remember number, there is nothing special about it.

Same with all your other numbers, your just using whatever the closest even F value is that's easy to remember there's nothing special about any of them and we have equivalents in Celsius

  • Sometimes people go for more than a single day, or you book weeks in advance and have to deal with whatever shit weather you get.

Weather can also suddenly change over a single day.

  • For a person / creature being in the shade will always be cooler, so a field of grass vs solar panels the panels are cooler, now a forest vs solar panels. The forest would likely be cooler, since you get the shade plus the above mentioned moisture release cooling.

  • If it's led 200w equivalent then it's fine.

Those max ratings are for incandescent bulbs

  • And then you have a great big fuck off stack of documentation you can slap in their face with proof that it's someone else's problem.

Unless you aren't actually pinging all the people you say you are.

  • Except the C++ "Core dumped" line is telling you it just wrote a file out with the full state of the program at the time of the crash, you can load it up and see where it crashed and then go and look at what every local variable was at the time of the crash.

Pretty sure you can even step backwards in time with a good debugger to find out exactly how you got to the state you're currently in.
