I said this exact same thing a couple weeks ago when someone was whining about "working class solidarity". "Oh boo hoo they were conned and manipulated" How come I can consume the exact same media as them and see through the bullshit? I'm really supposed to feel sorry for them? We've been telling them for decades they're being lied to; they enjoy it.
There's no "ethnic cleansing" happening in Iran, there are targeted strikes on military, economic, and government sites. No invasion, no boots on the ground, and a relatively low amount of casualties in comparison to the number of strikes carried out so far.
The ethnic cleansing is happening in Gaza and West Bank, also known as "land Israel feels it should control". Israel has no interest in controlling Iran, they just want a government there that isn't an existential threat to Israel. No reason to commit genocide and depopulate land you have no interest in controlling.
The concerns about the screen fragility are overblown, I've been using this thing for a year now with no screen damage, no scratches, and the hinge is fine.. I run a cheap snap-on plastic case with no screen protector. There's a small scratch on the hinge itself from one of the many times I've dropped it.
It's nice to have a larger screen for videos and pictures. It's nice to be able to run two full-size apps at once, but Hearthstone + YouTube is really the only thing I ever use that feature for. It's nice for DS/3DS emulation, if you attach a controller. But for me personally, I don't feel I use it unfolded enough to justify the extra weight and thickness. I'll be going back to a slab phone when it's time to upgrade.
“I thought, 'Why is this a factor at all?' I wonder how J.K. Rowling has absorbed it. I suppose at a certain point I’ll meet her, and I’m curious to talk to her," he said.
"Decades in hell" for being a clueless, out of touch old man? Jesus Christ you people are unhinged. You fucking act like he's personally bankrolling her anti-trans crusade.
Tucked inside the 1,200-page appendix to the White House’s budget request to Congress is a proposal to eliminate a grant program, funded by the Agriculture Department and administered by the Department of Justice, that provides domestic violence shelters with money to support survivors’ pets. Advocates say the program, known as PAWS, helps fill a critical gap despite its relatively small budget of $3 million
So we see that it actually is a budget issue, nobody's issuing a directive saying animals are banned at these shelters -- the headline is misleading.
We also see that the proposed budget cut is $3 million, which works out to almost a whopping 2¢ per taxpayer in the US.
Montana here, my 4Runner gets me way deeper into the mountains than a minivan can, and I'm not inclined to limit my recreational activities just because some urban jackass who can ride the bus everywhere doesn't approve of my vehicle.
You make a sweet headboard on that bad boy?
