  • That's exactly it really. Many guys (at least pre social media) never think about the other perspective, so they think they complimenting the women, so they get mad when they get treated badly. Young guys having a more easily accessible view into how women feel about it and what they think about in terms of the danger (hopefully) would help it phase out slowly, but I'm an optimist!

  • I'm actually talking about when he was a Bernie supporter but I guess people either don't know that he was, or are completely rewriting history inside their own heads so that he was always as bad as he is now so they can virtue signal about how good and moral they are for having never liked the bad person.

    I stopped interacting with him and his show entirely when he started dipping into antivax and covid conspiracy hard. I enjoyed it before that. If you didn't, good for you.

  • Even this specific post like, yes I know that there are men who try to somehow weasel their way out of condoms using that logic and those guys are bad and wrong.

    But on it's face both of these things are valid. Birth control frequently sucks a LOT for women, and condoms can be unpleasant (not to the same extreme don't even try it) for guys. It's not a competition, nor is it mutually exclusive.
