  • I'm also disabled. We tend to refer to this as the "disability tax". Anything that could potentially be billed to insurance or for which there are no other options is incredibly expensive. If we can't afford it or don't have insurance, we're always welcome to go die under a bridge somewhere. Gotta pay for the owner's yacht.

  • But they call themselves the most moral army in the world. It can't be a lie!

  • You're right, it's yet another stop-gap measure keeping us from making ideal, long-term solutions. If we were an intelligent species, we'd have been hellbent on implementing renewable energy solutions and putting massive, massive amounts of research into fusion. Instead, we're where we are now. What a time to be alive.

  • I think the brave explorers are still here, they're now just vastly outnumbered. The early Internet was full of those explorer types because they in particular tended to have enough interest to overcome the hurdles of getting on the Internet: namely computers being expensive and somewhat difficult to use. The early Internet was more accessible to intelligent, innovative users, and it reflected its user base. Many got online to explore and continued to explore and innovate once there.

Now millions have a user-friendly computer in their pocket, so practically anyone, even flat earthers, is capable and intelligent enough to use the Internet. Most are attracted not by exploration but by access to specific services that have been advertised to them, especially social media. The Internet continues to reflect its user base, but the user base's composition has... changed. Let's just call it changed.

  • Don't forget well-meaning advice from someone incompetent who failed upwards but still lacks the self-awareness to see it. I've had a few of those.

  • The term "global warming" first appeared in print in a scientific journal article authored by an American geochemist in 1975. I think the mistake isn't the naming, as it's an accurate name that succinctly describes the issue. I think the mistake was not realizing how profoundly science illiterate the American public was at the time and still continues to be.

  • You might need a /s there. I actually see users here that believe and spread that bullshit.

  • The IDF: We're protecting the Palestinians since Hamas is in the air drops!

  • Imagine being this willfully ignorant.

  • I agree completely. I have a heritable connective tissue disorder that causes me trouble to no end, especially in frequently used muscles, like those in my forearms. I have to be very careful of what I do - not lift too much or grip too hard, avoid too much repetitive motion like typing or gaming, don't hold things a certain way, etc. Once in awhile, I'll forget and just do something like I used to, like catching something heavy, and I'll be fine. Until the next morning, when I wake up in pain. Even then it's still not awful, it's the accumulation of multiple events that causes trouble. This isn't in line with what most people consider a physical disability, so I occasionally get flack from people who think I'm faking. Sometimes I choose to deal with some pain so I can do normal things for a bit, but there's no way I could do them every day for hours.

My point is a lot of people don't understand how physical disabilities actually work and seem to love "disproving" your limitations. Especially lawyers fighting against your disability claims.

  • Israelis: we're protecting him, Hamas is in the food!

  • Lol, your rebuttals don't even make sense. You know you're on the Internet, right? You can actually look things up instead of making things up. I guess the problem is reality doesn't match the propaganda you choose to believe, since the alternative is realizing you're promoting genocide.

Every war in history kills more civilians than combatants. Normally that ratio is about 6:1.

Verifiably false. It's approximately 50%. Even up to 2007, Israel was able to kill Palestinian militants versus civilians at a rate of approximately 2:3. Suddenly, it's over 1:2. It's almost as if all the videos and journalist eyewitness accounts of the "most moral army" indiscriminately killing men, women, and children are actually true! They've killed so many civilians, they've wiped out more than that US did in its three year campaign against the Islamic State.

Hamas is attacking aid trucks that are let in and stealing the aid to resell. It's not starving the population to stop aiding the people attacking you.

Hey look guys, not only is Hamas in refugee camps and hospitals, Hamas is now in the IDF, shooting refugees trying to get aid! Hamas has also infiltrated the Israeli population and staged that pathetic "rave" that blocked humanitarian aid. Man, Hamas is everywhere!

    Back at you.

Yes, I'm clearly a mouthpiece for Israeli propaganda. I know you're not much of a thinker, but come on.

This is more info for anyone on the fence. Don't believe the Israeli genocidal propaganda, kids. It's way too easy to disprove.

  • That's why I freeze dried mine and keep them in the glove compartment for use in the HOV lane.

  • Did you know it you go back far enough, rape and murder was acceptable because there was no society? Go back even farther and we brachiated and ate carrion. What's my point? There is no point, it's a bad argument.

They're actively colonizing now. It was wrong before and it's wrong now.

  • The amount of bullshit you spew on a regular basis is pretty impressive. Your comment history is like an Israeli propaganda primer.

"It's not a genocide, they're just killing more civilians than combatants and starving out the population by blocking humanitarian aid, just like past genocides. But this one is different because it you object you're automatically an anti-semite!"

    Sure.

  • I have him blocked so I can't see his comments, but I suspected who you were talking about after reading your first paragraph. Yeah, he started making really cringe nonsense critical responses to other comments I made and a bunch of older posts no one ever voted on mysteriously were voted down, though that could be an odd coincidence. What's he up to now?

  • Its tank:

  • Same here. We have about 10 pounds of chocolate in a storage bin that's slowly growing stale.

  • That's how my milk used to come when I was a little kid.
