  • I grew up in the Okanagan, and moved to a rural coastal community.

I miss the seasons, coldy snowy winter's, asphalt melting summers.

I also miss the fruit and veggies, while I have blackberries here, I don't have the apples, peaches, strawberries, and endless veggies.

  • I mainly use ZigBee, with a sprinkling of Wifi.

I think matter is going to continue to grow, both matter and matter over thread, especially with Ikea switching over.

  • I don't see a "and they need to host it"

But allowing/enabling community servers would allow it to stay playable at minimum cost to the developers

  • if i could install and run Home Assistant on this, i could see having a use for it... but that requires me to have complete control, and not samsungs BS

  • It is, if you are just dealing with bare batteries without any kind of protection, but if you are dealing with cellphones/modern smart devices, not so much

  • Yea, but that wasn't a great rest. I love Great Scott, but a lot of comments fairly call out his conclusion.

Most (all?)phones don't charge at full speed to 100% charge, they fast charge when the battery is almoast empty, and charge slower the more full it gets.

  • "what we need is a short, victorious war" -David Weber

  • I assume if they DON'T flip it, it gets passed yo the next guy with 4 people tied to the track.

33junctions down the road, and it's the population of the earth tied down.

  • Americans dumbfounded, still vote conservative to own the libs

  • I really hope it was Lego Island.

  • Gold is very much "less is more"

Local brewery has a textured black wall with lil gold accents, looks like a million dollars

  • I still don't understand what it means

  • Have a 75" display, the size is nice, but still a ways from a theater experience, would really need 95" plus.

  • Don't know the Nova, but that wouldn't surprise me.

  • Yea, I use calibre to strip it, have my entire collection backed up

  • Yea, love my kobo

Just bought a new 7" Libra, my only complaint is the colour screen is lower contrast than a pure black and white

  • Voyager was actually built for long-term, unsupported missions: smaller crew, redundant systems, and efficient everything.

It had bioneural gel packs, variable-geometry warp nacelles, and automation meant to keep it running without a starbase nearby.

The Enterprise was basically a flying city that relied on Starfleet support. Drop it in the Delta Quadrant, and it wouldn’t have lasted half as long.

  • Crippling insecurity.

  • Not often

Wondering if it was my old phone? Since it was 2 different devices, maybe it was that.

Haven't replaced the batteries since I got my new fold 7.
