Most seedbox providers offer data center choices in the US, Asia and Europe.
OP is likely using public trackers without a VPN so a US based location is not ideal. The seedbox provider receives and forwards any copyright notices to you, and your ISP is still unaware that you have received a copyright notice.
If you want more advance, Then get content freelech first on torrentleech IRC channel, as new releases are announced there before they appear on the site. Using autobrr is best for that
https://github.com/autobrr/autobrr
Be aware that many users have seedboxes on torrentleech, so you will be competing with them. Without a seedbox, you will have a hard time uploading (seeding). This should not be problem if you permaseed your torrents, as you will earn points that can be exchanged for upload credit.
I would archive all those 500 vhs tapes. Nostalgia. There are some private trackers encouraged people to upload it. Even a commercial ads from the 90s (of course you cannot just compare it with movies vs commercial ads) are being uploaded despite low quality. Or you could find some collectors.
You can earn Microsoft Rewards points by using Bing search egine in the US, redeem them for gift cards, for personal use or to sell/trade for cheap cash. I think in the US you can earn up to 15-20k points per month, a $10 gift card costs like 9k points.
You might have been able to get free invites by posting your email in IRC about fifteen years ago, but nobody does that now. Now you need an interview or a profile from other trackers along with your stats.
here a free semi private tracker (always open tho just need a code) for 0day release
Not everyone will start using it just because the price is right, it is a subscription. Also, not everyone wants to stream and forget. There will likely always be seeders of public torrents available especially for popular or mainstream content. You can always revive a dead torrent if you have access to private trackers, usenet, ddl filehosters (debrid supported)
major streaming platform like netflix, amazon disny etc, are using drm. you may experience limited video quality on your device. especially older devices will be capped at 720p
yt-dlp and similar tools will stop working, but there is already a temporary solution. The current drm issue with YouTube is limited to the app on TVs and consoles, web browsing (windows, linux) is unaffected
No need for a seedbox if you only really care is downloading on public trackers. Another alternative is Real Debrid.
