  • I know, but but even so the whiplash move from "best buddy" to "enemies list" (and probably back again after this capitulation) should tell anyone who wants to ally with Trump what a futile of a move that is. It doesn't matter how much you schmooze him, how give him, or how much he owes you; the moment you're not useful to him Trump will throw you under the bus.

  • Of course China is playing hardball, heck I wouldn't be surprised if they want to keep the Trump tariffs in place. Through his tariffs, inconsistency and idiocy Trump's drastically weakening the USA's power around the globe. Why would they want that to stop?

    Sure China is losing money now, but they can see the end of the United States as a superpower on the horizon... and a world where China is the top superpower is worth a little pain now.
