    [1] : For some reason, Hispanic Caribbean countries like Baseball, while Anglophone Caribbean countries love cricket. I don't know or understand why they prefer bat and ball sports this consistently. Like you'd think it would be a mixture, and some football or they'd all like baseball or cricket, but it's divided among linguistic lines.

  • Most people would believe themselves to be politically sane and sensible. The people further than them in either direction are too soft or too extremist;so to them, they are politically neutral.

    Or: they are for maintaining the status quo, and the person asking is then asking the respondee to specify the current political situation they want maintained to make their political biases explicit

    We haven’t. This is the first time we’ve had a president that wasn’t at least trying to do the right thing by his people, no matter how misguided.

    I see. I agree that Trump is different to the ones that came before (except Andrew Jackson) , and I agree that the tankies are trying to claim it's been like this, but this kind of shit has been pretty common in US history. And so has the opposite. Sometimes administrations are tainted by the populus or take wrong turns in otherwise good administrations, but there's usually some bullshit somewhere. Even people like FDR have things they fucked up.
