Separatists polled at 19% before the federal election, and there's so much that will stop them even if it somehow passed. These people existed before the PC / Wildrose merger. That was part of Wildrose and Take Back Alberta.
Natives, the Crown, being totally landlocked, the fact they'd lose a huge amount of the population.
Also, Alberta didn't join via negotiation like Quebec. This was Hudson's Bay private property called Rupert's Land. Surrendered to Canada. Alberta would need all premiers to say yes and 50% of the population nationally. Womp womp.
Thanks, Jason Kenney. You really united the reich. Embarrassing clowns. Come on, Nenshi pull it off and give us a break.
Could we even sell our homes without further financial ruin trying to leave? They'd have half or more of the province potentially fleeing. Millions of very angry people with nothing left to lose with a sudden abundance of free time to think about that on the way out.
It's been enough to just seed behind a VPN at this scale? I'd like to do something similar one day at smaller scale but I'm a bit fearful.
In my youth I used to operate my own and admin on other ROM sites. The smart move then was Asian server hosts who would take anonymous payments with no personal info attached to the accounts. But we were still worried of Nintendo, keeping safe was a bit scary.
But they never went after us. It was easier for them to just go after people hosting in the USA under their real names.
But that's centralized, different ballpark from p2p. I used to use mullvad for torrents until they removed port forwarding.
IpFS like ddh says makes the most sense probably. But you can archive a lot of raw text. Try to save what you think the Nazis would burn. I doubt archive.org survives many more years.
Leaked archives of american research papers too.
Yeah alright. Their mods are bad people. Never been there myself but that's blatant.
I've dealt with similar upsets watching smaller negative utilitarian related subs get taken over by hate groups, which nobody seems to mind despite the actual philosophies stemming from empathy.
I agree and recognized that. I'm more emotionally upset about it tbh. The debates aren't for the debaters, it's to hopefully disillusion and remove indoctrinated fears from those on the fence willing to read them. It's oft repeated there when people ask "what's the point, same stupid debate for centuries." Well religions unfortunately persist, and haven't lost any ground globally. Gained, actually. Not our fault they have no new ideas.
Cool thanks for info.
