    Then you better treat them as a car of which you don't know what they're doing (most of 'em), and keep a sensible distance.

  • I work 4x9, the govt only hss 36hr contracts and doesn't allow half days. Either 4x9 or 4x8+5x8 on a biweekly schedule.

    Hardly ever really hit those 9 hours in actual work, but I do feel like getting more work done in my four days than in five.

  • In this thread: difference in worldwide laws. In the Netherlands you get fined 65+ eur per broken or missing light on your bike. Checks are frequent.

    One upside of those illegal fat bikes is that the lights usually work just fine, making them easy to see.

  • A hotel I stayed at recently had a vending machine filled with beer and wine. It just worked with the honour system, no ID check or whatever.

    It was fairly nicely priced too, especially for a hotel.
