  • dont waste your words. some people don't want to be free, it scares them.

  • It's pretty crazy how a 10 minute setup from your armchair provides more privacy and security than something complicated like offshore accounts

  • thank you so much for staying publicly communicative

it's weird that they are able to ddos an onion. i thought tor had pow mitigations? but this is good learning for TOR to better mitigate ddos i guess

i honestly think this is a fed or similar attack. trocador is a great service and they want people to not have anonymity or freedom.

    stay strong team.

  • this is targeted by the global powers, to get everyone on the top major cdns like akami, cloudflare, etc, in order to scarf and decrypt all traffic. enshitification is correct af.

why tf do they not have an onion anymore?? have they said anything? it would be perfect to have the onion.

edit. i just checked and the onion is gone but i can connect to the clearnet from tor with no js.

  • localmonero was a very professional site. idk if the analytics was self hosted or what.

regardless, idgaf what LM did. this site has a bad smell. the "AI" art, the obvious trustful gimmick, no onion. when you spend a good amount of time in the space you learn to spot bullshit. calling yourself anonymous without basic regard is obvious bs

    • calls themselves anon
    • doesn't have an onion
    • injects analytics
    • umm what?

Also this is a bad idea, trusting someone to swap to xmr first then to your chosen coin. the slew of metadata that would render this useless is pretty laughable.

I'm not calling this a honeypot but it's a funny gimmick at best. and the mid journey art is cringe

  • yeah the guy who made it is a UX designer, he's pretty neat

  • Monero is powerful because it is the end of usury, which is slavery.

Actually you can game the usury system pretty easily if you know what you're doing, but not in all countries, and not for the average joe.

Monero is also good for those divorce settlements where that bitch wants half ;) "half of what? my view key? okay here's half of my view key"

  • nah, doesnt have anything to do with XMR. just very anon and very resiliant to censorship

  • Retroshare is a social network

  • someone who has millions in other accounts isnt having 200k "ruining his life" and complaining and whining on reddit 🤣🤣 try again bro. use your brain

  • okay i didnt know. i think it had a period where it was? my bad i guess.

  • thanks

  • can i use rs over tor? if i can then ill join. i used rs a long time ago it's nice

also this is cool but rs is unmaintained, so im a bit sketch

  • NYK, NYC

I can't have sympathy for this guy. Even if you're the kind of person that doesn't mind exchanges, it is basic fiscal responsibility to split your large wealth up into multiple places

these are the kind of nerds that dont have any responsibility, they just trade crypto for the lulz and dont know anything about how crypto works.

Natural selection at its finest. the idiots get nerfed.

  • lmao this is so true

  • most people dont give a shit, regardless of the blatant insanity that is Cloudflare. so, wouldn't do any good
