  • Are you suggesting that electronics came before textiles…?

Pretty sure this one predates yours by a couple centuries.

  • A lot of stories can be in compilations, or originally in magazines or other form of combined methods.

Also, large print? Too many factors to just pick a book up and know its length.

  • Well knowing if it’s a short story, novella, novel, novelette, or other form of narrative is always helpful.

  • For what’s it’s worth, a warmed up vehicle will usually be warm and melt fresh snow. But if there’s an inch of snow, it’s just gonna melt the bottom into ice and restick to the hood. Snow is a fantastic insulator, so it doesn’t take much for it to protect the rest.

  • Engine hoods have an insulation layer in a fire blanket.

Unless you’re running your vehicle for an hour or longer without moving, it’s not melting snow. And when moving, it’s being cooled too fast to melt.

Brush the snow off, you’re supposed to anyways!

  • There’s being cautious, then there’s wrapping yourself in bubble wrap. You are implying and saying here that you should unplug a battery charger before removing the dewalt battery.

Those cautions are for the laymen’s that don’t know better, or would spill alcohol in the room and then remove the battery. Yes there is SPECIFIC cases where it’s dangerous, not all cases. You’re using them backwards. Which also, unplugging the charger would be the spark that caused the ignition ironically in that situation…

  • Doesn’t domestic include siblings? Domestic just means family/house.

  • You’re the one talking like your way is the only right way.

Someone was providing some knowledge about how to save their saves.

  • You…. Uhh… don’t need to solder it back on. Conductive tape, this also makes it simpler for next time, since it’ll happen again.

And a piece of cardboard levels out the work area. These are all non-issues you are making into mole hills and then mountains.

  • Uhh… yeah this is exactly why you do a t-break for 72 hours before a surgery. Your life is the one at risk though, but your gonna traumatize a lot of workers if things go worst case for you. Best case, you’re a hassle and everyone hates you.

  • How’s it sketchy? It’s no different than doing it dead, and it removes plenty of other steps.

Flashers cost money, corrupt, lots of people want to stay true and that creates an avenue for cheating and other stuff that isn’t true to original.

  • Lots of trades are starting to use more modern equipment, to the slow embracement of older more “established” tradespeople.

An example from a couple decades ago, when auto leveling tiling systems were coming out, more “prestigious” companies refused to use them since they think it’s cheating. It’s like a calculator, a tool to make your life easier though.

Anyways, now you won’t catch tilesetters NOT using them.

  • So it’ll be a genre like Hentai, it’s not gonna replace anything since most people want to see real bodies. Also, you can get people to do almost anything on video for a small payment already.

I see it as a genre.

  • So why would there be a market for fake ones? There’s no need for AI, since there’s already a product that accomplishes that.

Now, there will be a portion of people who will like to see that, but it will be a niche genre like anything else. Most are also free already.

Theres also already people who will do whatever you ask of them on video for a petty price. There’s just no market, other than for people who specifically want to it. Like hentai in general for example, it’s not for everyone.

  • Virtual desktop babes have been things for decades already?

  • But that’s what other people expect, what about your personal goals? If the passion is gone, does it matter if the next project is better? What if it’s not, and then it’s too late.

As you said sunk cost, may want to try and salvage the ruined reputation before hanging it up.

  • I’m torn on stuff like this.

Like all good things must come to an end, and is it better to quit at the bottom? At the top?

I feel like quitting before things start getting desperate and on a high note is the way. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

Is an Entrepreneur a failure because they closed their business? What if they are just done and want to move onto the next chapter.

  • Ah, Canada likely has different mixing regulations. And those are specifically for bourbon and not whiskey in general yeah?
