The patio will be raised quite a bit off the ground on the side they would going, so it’ll be a solid concrete wall it’ll have to grow through before that’s an issue.
It’s all been figured out to be able to use for trees if not other shade plants. Most issues come from too thin slabs, I can’t do that or it’ll be destroyed by the first winter anyways ;)
I love the fog even though it can be creepy. There’s some mornings I can’t see the valley to the east, but to the west is clear. Or I get out of the valley to drop the kids off and it’s clear. Which leaves a stunning view of the valley filled with obscuring fog.
Micro climates are fun!
But I quickly looked those up, that’s crazy, took the second event for them to figure out the first. On a semi similar vein, building and fire codes are written in blood, there’s a reason why underground parkades all forbid propane powered vehicles.
No, pretty sure it’s fog, it was 31c and humid yesterday, there’s condensation on EVERYTHING this morning and it was 10c, and this is down in a valley.
That’s good to hear, it’s funny I’ve got some plants that I left for dead (hostas) and they came back this year after tidying up the mulch last year. They weren’t shaded though, so I believe they got cooked.
It’s sprouted, you can see it on the back lattice, probably just buried it deeper, but who knows. I doubt these will be tall enough, next year I can build something more permanent, mainly throwing stuff at the soil and seeing what works and I can handle haha.
That’s good to know, these may move in a few years and/or be split to make more as well. More of an experiment, I’ll get some other variety’s next year as well.
I want to get a concrete patio and pergola built that they can climb, but health issues and other more important stuff keep cropping up.
It’s evolved over time, females used to ghost write with male names for scifi. They all have their “biases”. But that’s also public perception as well, if that’s what sells shrug.
Shops can use a rug, there’s lot more efficient, durable and less costly options that provide the same or better.
They break, and they’re ugly from wear. They’re worn because they’re not the right material for the use case. And no one wants to cart a hand dolly on broken tile. You’re really doing a fantastic job giving more reasons why tile shouldn’t be used when heavy loads are anticipated……
Every 15 years is terrible for road length, you’re kinda proving my point. Costly replacement too. It just doesn’t work for any type of road that needs to carry loads.
Or any place with extreme weather, or a lot of rain, or etc.
It’s just for different scenarios. Complete bollards are used for terrorist scenarios, while OPs is used for accidents.
People are apparently too focused on their bias to comprehend that… different scenarios exist with different solutions. Don’t conflate them because you have an axe to grind.
I thought about it, but I would probably have forgotten haha.
