That just sounds wrong. Probably not as bad as the people that say they use Blender for 2D things, but I still don't think Inkscape was made for doing that... Though at the end of the day, if it works for you, then more power to you!
If I remember correctly, that had been the original plan, but on the day of filming, he and Shanks (Daniel Jackson) decided it would be funnier for them to switch roles.
"They only produce milk after having been pregnant" is just a dumbed down way of saying "pregnancy is what releases the hormones that stimulate lactation". The point still stands that mammals do not lactate at all times.
Thunder is nice, and is FOSS, though definitely has a different look and feel to it, like the images are shortened in height unless you click them to display unlike Voyager
