  • It's an offensive term for someone who is not smart. I thought we had moved past using these petty insults smh

  • SPOILER ALERT!

  • Completely aside from the blob issue mentioned, the Tails team has recommended against using a multiboot utility like Ventoy to install Tails. Ventoy works fine for basically any other operating system (again, aside from the blob issue), just not Tails, which is what this post is about.

  • What are we, some kinda star trek?

You can also use a bang itself, with nothing else before or after it, to just go to the homepage for that website. That can be simpler than typing out the whole URL.

  • Where do I go to configure that?

  • Use a spoiler tag and explain it anyway! Because apparently I forgot, and I'm sure others did as well

  • The simple fact that it was the closest thing I could find to the Ableton Live workflow I am used to that also natively supports Linux. I have since tried the FOSS DAW Zrythm, which is also Ableton-like. But I had some minor issues getting something working, so decided to just wait until it matures to put further effort into trying it out.

  • Bitwig Studio is what finally allowed me to fully switch to Linux instead of keeping a Mac just for using Ableton Live.

  • I am not an iOS user in any way. Does Voyager actually look/feel different than a native Swift app in any way? Or does it just bother you to know, in the back of your mind, that it is not native?

  • I use Fedora, and I have no idea how to interpret my representation here.

  • Even knowing that, I do understand their apprehension. GrapheneOS doesn't really add any QOL features that are not found in AOSP; just security/privacy features. So if that commenter's last foldable was only usable to them due to Samsung's QOL features, I presume they wouldn't find GrapheneOS on a foldable any more usable than AOSP on a foldable.

  • Ah, so the issue isn't the in-house plumbing, but the plumbing leading to the house. Hence the "neighborhood" part.

  • On no... I am too racist to understand?

  • ...what? Am I just not racist enough to understand this?
