  • Maybe your warehouse has issues but Costco tire center is top tier

Edit: also forgot to mention their tires come with warranties, free rotations, tps sensors are super cheap compares to the dealership, and they often have other incentives on top of all that.

  • The directors cut version of this video changed how I run my dishwasher for many many years now.

Get it hot before you start and add a little detergent to the tub for pre-wash cycle is a game changer.

  • Am I a boomer for just bookmarking things. I hate having a bunch of tabs open

  • Install process is mad easy these days. Connect with ethernet if available, type archinstall and navigate through a few choices and its over.

  • OP is talking about dreading major kernel updates because shit might break. I'm not talking about tinkering (though I'd argue against that point too, btrfs and timeshift exist).

Arch updates so often I barely even notice a kernel update; I'm certainly not dreading it.

Also side point, super huge updates on arch are normally an indication that you didn't perform a full system update in a while. If things are going to break it's when you dont perform regular system maintenance.

  • No personal experience with Fedora but if that'd been your experience why not shift to Arch (btw) or something similar. Been daily driving for 3~4 years, super stable and always on latest releases.

  • Lmao

  • I agree with the person you are replying to but not sure why you being downvoted, the meme is suggesting to smoke before stocking shelves.

Reality is most of these guys just pass the initial screen and then show up to work every single day after that stoned as hell.

Source: Worked overnights stocking shelves for a major supermarket for about 1 year.

  • The issue with moderation is how it requires a rational actor to, well, moderate use or a behavior. At some point during a persons "addiction" the ability to execute control over those behaviors lessens until it eventually breaks. The time table on this varries and for some they may be able to stick to whatever rules they set, however if you ask anyone whose been in this position they would tell you how often their thoughts / emotions were consumed by a phenomenon called craving.

Everything everyone said about each person being different is valid, but by and large, the best way to minimize negative impacts of whatever "addiction" we are talking about (process or substance) is to cease completely.

  • Could also try sorting by top 6 hour.

  • I used a slight appeal to authority to highlight the ridiculousness of the initial argument. I'm not typing out a million different nuances / hedging everything I say.

Multiple things can be true at same time. I can acknowledge that a sitting senator obviously has some idea of what is / is not effective in terms of when / when not to filibuster while not bowing to the institution itself. Sorry I didn't add three extra paragraphs about how despite being a US senator.... Yada yada yada.

  • I show no submission to authority. The point of my post, which was meant to be a jab at the armchair politicians / optics gurus / 4d strategists in this chain who were arguing over the effectiveness of starting at 7pm.

  • Dude, we all certainly understand this less than a sitting senator. Get off it.

Maybe 7pm is significant, maybe it isn't, but we are sitting here from our toilets still wiping the sleep from our eyes while this guy is giving a speech for 12 hours. Can we stop pretending we have any clue?

  • They'll be forced to install AC, then they will leave it uncomfortably cold till inmates comolain, then use that as proof the inmates liked it better the old way.

  • Ohhhhhh I think I get it now. Pennis = man, vagina = girl. Heteronormative and trans exclusionary; how spicy 🌶️.

  • Yeah. I see the joke you were trying to make. So the bottle is a boy because??? And the the guillotine is a girl because???

Just need you to explain it a little further.

  • ???????????

  • Do you qualify all women you meet this way or only those involved in your interests?

  • I've already paused my prime membership. Ez to avoid the rest.
