sorry for not wanting the deaths of my friends' families because twats in business suits thought they had an opening to secure more resources (but disguised as concern over nuclear arms and concern over a literal genocide).
Give me a non-ironic dialectical analysis of how the Palestinian people free themselves with things as they stand right now?
I'm glad that you people have come around to materialism and understood that this is an unfavourable historical period. The liberation of the workers of Palestine will not happen because of our critical or uncritical support, or because of Iran's and Russia's good will. Materialism is the recognition that the situation will continue so long as the bourgeoisie is able to govern in this way, and the proletariat accepts it. How many genocides occurred, how many new bourgeois governments formed and collapsed, how many people were murdered aimlessly since the beginning of capitalism? This isn't the doomer position so much as it is just understanding that "believing hard enough" won't magically fix capitalism. That Russia, Israel, Iran, America, China could all collapse tomorrow and be replaced by equally deranged or based heckin' anti-imperialist bourgeois regimes and nothing would meaningfully change without the real movement.
Until that time, it is important to understand marxism without the modernizing opportunist slant. Stop debasing the ideology just to hold out hope that the next bourgeois regime or petty-bourgeois national aspirational liberation movement will be the anti-imperialist proletarian world communist bulwark against the devil-incarnate America, the collapse of which will trigger the fall of capitalism.
the plan is to gradually capitulate to further and more opportunist positions, modernize and adapt marxism to the capitalist reality of this millennium. i think once our debasement is complete only then perhaps will imperialism fall
if only someone told us in the 1800s that the bourgeoisie will not dismantle capitalism on our behalf, no matter how genetically-proletarian it appears to be
I've been mostly abstaining for years after reading a few articles
we need /c/notheory to help guide these souls away from sin, complete with increasingly esoteric advice on how to practice abstinence and the superpowers that come with not reading theory
Majority of nuclear plants have a lifetime closer to 40 years. The oldest running reactors are around 50-55 years old. With proper safety instrumented systems and SIL verification, old plants aren't at any risk through normal operation. But anyway they're talking about having the plant be bombed, which is an abnormal situation. Luckily for the bombing to actually cause damage the opponent needs to have accurate bombs, and accurate intel on the plant.
