and thinking alcohol is bad for you.
I mean there is a strong scientific consensus on that.
I can also recommend everyone to say goodbye to alcohol. Alcohol free beers can be quite good nowadays. The only taste i miss sometimes is a Whiskey where you can taste the smokiness but it isn't too strong yet. Still not worth the negative health effects.

Für private Anlagen ja.

Für größere Anlagen wirst du nicht drum herum kommen, diese von extern zu steuern. Das sollte natürlich nicht über einen normalen Internetzugang gehen, macht es aber leichter für Angreifer, wenn diese Zugriff auf den Hersteller der Steuerungen haben.

Falls wer noch nicht davon gehört hat, kann ich die Interview-Serie Shore, Stein, Papier empfehlen. Die Lebensgeschichte von $ick wird noch mal deutlich härter, als zum Heroin (Shore) Crack (Stein) dazugekommen ist.

Selbst wenn man davon ausgeht, dass einige Geschichten ausgeschmückt sind, finde ich es plausibel, dass allein in seinem Fall die gesellschaftlichen Folgekosten zwischen den Einbruchsdiebstählen und Gefängnisaufenthalten mehrere Millionen betragen haben.

Suchthilfe ist dagegen deutlich günstiger und selbstverständlich wesentlich menschlicher.

"Othering" dient meistens dazu, sich nicht der Möglichkeit zu stellen, dass die Menschlichkeit des Täters und die eigene Menschlichkeit bedeuten, dass man grundsätzlich zu Gleichem in der Lage ist. Dabei ist ebenjene Erkenntnis entscheidend, um das eigene Handeln ständig zu überprüfen und eben nicht wie der Täter zu werden.

"Verachten" ist in dem Kontext auch keine gute Wortwahl.

Manchmal wird einem keine Wahl gelassen, außer zu kämpfen. Dazu muss man den Gegner weder seine Menschlichkeit absprechen, noch ihn "verachten".

Es gibt aus meiner Sicht nur eine Lösung, um diese gezielten Grenzüberschreitungen zu beenden, ohne in die Freiheit des Journalismus einzugreifen.

Es muss bei jedem Verstoß eines Medienhauses eine exponentiell steigende Geldstrafe geben, die ähnlich wie die Punkte in Flensburg nur langsam wieder abgebaut werden.

Das Geschäftsmodell "Hass, Hetze und Falschnachrichten" darf sich nicht länger rentieren.

It is a long term problem requiring long term solutions, most notably changes to the way we work and live. So it is deeply unpopular for politicians and media who think in terms of election or even shorter cycles.

It would be in the best interest for the more "northern" European countries to pump a lot of money south for mitigating the effects of climate change now. The EU is trying to bulwark itself against climate refugees from Africa and Asia, however it is on the best track to see a lot of internal climate refugees within the next decades. This has the explosive power to blow up the EU and NATO and lead us back into wars between EU member states, when resources such as water and arable land are fought over.

Also if Spain, Italy and Greece collapse under climate change, the strategy of letting African and Asian climate refugees succumb outside the bulwark will fail and we will see actual refugee crisis when not a few million refugees are coming, but hundreds of millions.

Da gibt es eine Wechselwirkung. Toxische Inhalte werden von den Algorithmen befördert, weil sie süchtig machen.

Ich finde es auch bedenklich, dass hier ein richtiges Ziel: Schutz von Heranwachsenden vor Sucht und Überforderung dann wahrscheinlich für eine Ausweitung der Überwachung genutzt wird. Ob die Altersverifikation so anonym umsetzbar ist, wie es angepriesen wird, muss sich erst noch zeigen. Wenn es um das Umgehen von Altersbegrenzungen geht, sind insb. Teenager kreativ, sodass auch die Frage ist, wie wirksam das dann tatsächlich sein wird.

Auf Seite der Anbieter einzugreifen finde ich den besseren Ansatz. "Früher" war Facebook auch eher darauf ausgelegt, dass man den Feed von "Freunden" bekommen hat. Es ist also klar, dass die Hersteller anders können, wenn sie wollen.

To find out, he, Brodsky, and colleagues compared the dates, locations, depths, and magnitudes of the earthquakes to regular measurements of groundwater levels in the region's aquifer. They found that the quakes, most of which registered relatively harmless magnitudes between 3 and 4, occurred after steep groundwater declines from 2007 to 2013, and again from 2016 to 2018.

Injecting water into aquifers is thought to trigger earthquakes by increasing the water pressure in pores within the rocks, lubricating faults and allowing them to slip more easily. But how might removing groundwater trigger an earthquake swarm? In a paper published last week in Geophysical Research Letters, the authors suggest a model in which extracting groundwater reduces the gravitational load on a fault—lessening the forces that push rocks on either side of the fault together to keep it locked. "Pulling the water out allows the rocks to kind of relax away from one another, and therefore unclamps the fault," Brodsky explains.

It's a reasonable explanation, says earth scientist Manoochehr Shirzaei at Arizona State University in Tempe. He says scientists have traditionally assumed that freshwater fluid removal can't easily trigger earthquakes. "This is one of the first studies to show that it can."

It is not limited to bacteria. Because of the hygienic conditions and lack of access for vaccinations Polio is also an issue again in Gaza.

Any time that humans are subjected to inhumane conditions it becomes a breeding ground for infectious diseases that could then spread globally. This goes beyond man made inhumane conditions and also into the area of disaster relief after natural disasters. Spending money on disaster relief is money spent on disease prevention.

I wouldnt be surprised if these show to be Abu Shabab gang members and the whole operation was orchestrated by Israel. the Abu Shabab terrorist gang is supported and armed by Israel to sow chaos in Gaza, most notably to loot and resell aid with the backing of the IDF. Recently they also started to provide Medivacs to Abu Shabab terrorists. The Abu Shabab terrorists also have ties to ISIS, which seems to be a feature for Israel rather than a bug, as Israel also supported ISIS with material and medical treatment of its fighters during the Syrian civil war.

I can't help to find it a bit ironic after Zelensky kept praising Israel and saw it as a model for Ukraine.

Now Ukraine is set to get the Palestine treatment of slow ethnic cleansing and slow genocide, which at some point will culminate in a fast ethnic cleansing and fast genocide after the rest of the world has been trained to look away.
