Hello! I'm a POC (black/latino) autistic/ADHD dragon from Brazil. I use he/they/it pronouns, and my interests are usually gaming and drawing. Reddit refugee after getting banned multiple times for "threatening violence" for standing up against fascism.

  • Oh wow, one IDF atrocity (or more like malicious inaction) that actually resulted in a PM resigning and an investigation because it was that terrible. I'm actually surprised.

  • Oh no! The consequences of my own actions!

Pay me 10 times what you get paid and I'll fix it.

  • I can't decipher whatever word salad you're trying to say here and I don't care. There is no excuse for a top of the line GPU from LAST YEAR to not get at least 80 FPS on High. Most gamers are poor and have stuff like 3060s, 4060s, and RX 6600s. I'm not a rich fucker who can burn 2000 dollars every year on a 600 watt GPU to get a pitiful 50 FPS.

  • That isn’t what is being sold

That's what was being sold for over three decades. I give 1000 dollars worth of graphics card, I can run anything at max settings with no compromises. Nvidia and videogame devs enshittified this shit so much that you require stuff that should be reserved for LOW END graphics cards to run the game properly. Fuck that.

  • If I buy a 1000 dollar graphics card I'm expecting it to run any game at max settings with NO upscaling. Because that was the norm for over 35 years.

Upscaling is supposed to be used to EXTEND the life of lower end graphics cards, not be the new fucking normal.

  • My friend with a RX 7900 XT can barely run it.

    At 1080p.

    On Medium.

Shove it up your ass, Gearbox.

  • How many studies that boil down to giving people money with no strings attached that always result in "well it improves their lives it seems" are we gonna have before people finally decide it's worth doing that stuff universally?

  • I think 50-60 GB is a fair enough size for a larger game.

  • The fact we have to explain this to people now makes me feel like I belong in a mental asylum.

  • Your solutions all make sure that the only people that can afford to have guns are rich enough that they wouldn't need guns anyway. Smart guns? We don't even have cars that can drive themselves properly without violating a hundred traffic laws. Be more realistic.

Also your idea of suing manufacturers is also flawed. Nobody puts the responsibility of drunk drivers running people over on their F-150 on Ford. This just shows me you don't actually know what you're talking about.

  • I'm not saying it's too big of a problem, I'm asking what kind of idea you have. Because I would entertain any idea that doesn't result in the biggest string of police brutality incidents ever recorded in history, or is as effective on preventing cancer as a cigarrete filter.

  • Tell me your brilliant plan about how to get rid of 400 million weapons and I'll listen to it, because the people who need to give up their guns won't sell them on buybacks.

  • Well, there's 400 million guns in all of the US and about 1/3rd of all households on the US have a gun on them. Keeping kids ignorant about guns when 1/3rd of them have one at their homes (not owned by them, mind you) is a recipe for accidents.

  • The "fetish for firearms" comes from not treating firearms like tools, and that's something actual good teachers would do a lot better than ammosexual parents.

  • I'm of the opinion that teaching stuff has to be hands-on, especially with the bad attention span of children nowadays. I don't learn very much from theory, and I think a lot of neurodivergent kids don't do it, either.

I'm just saying that, in a country where there's more guns than people, keeping children ignorant of the realities of handling a gun safely is a liability.

  • Brother, it's already normalized. Acting like keeping kids ignorant will stop gun violence is a fairytale dream. Literally every person who takes a gun class gets drilled through all of it to NEVER point it at anyone. It's not just about learning how to use them, it's about how to be safe with them. Do you also think teaching a kid defensive driving before they can drive is useless?

  • Every single mass shooter was a radicalized right wing white supremacist.

  • Kids used to learn gun safety classes and even bring their guns to school for target practice later.

Sheltering kids from guns in a country with more guns than people is not a good decision.

  • There is no benefit on not teaching kids to respect guns as dangerous devices.
