I'm not sure how long the actual history is, the most widely accepted theory was first proposed by Austrian ethologist Konrad Lorenz in the 1940s. He called it baby schema which basically state that we find certain features of human babys cute which in turn motivates us to take care of them.
Certain aspects of infants like big eyes, can be found in most animals we traditionally deemed cute. For example domestic dogs have "poppy dog eyes" which is entirely absence from wild wolfs, meaning we likely unintentionally bred them to display them since we like it.
I was thinking about the Paramount Decrees and how the repelling lead to the creation of studio owned streaming servies which has exclusive acces to the studio's library like Paramount+, Disney+, Discovery+, apple Tv+, Peacock etc.
If you are talking about social media it is likely that they aren't allowed to post something negative about the country or else you can be fined. If you are working as an influncer in Dubai you'll need to obtain an license which regulates what you can post but you basically pay no income taxes
I agree I see very little of those post and my block list is also extremely small!
Yes but I think they only disallow downvotes and they block hexbear but not lemmy.ml. Luckly that's just one click away!
Interesting points!
I see more the fault in the German car maker as they refused to invest properly into electric cars. Why should China and the USA import Electric cars that are worse then what they can build for triple the price?
