OpenAI is fucked, no doubt about that. Both Nvidia and Microslop has retracted their hundred billion dollar deals with the company. But Nvidia is still selling their hardware to datacenters, and Microslop has doubled down on AI, they just want to do it in-house.
Question is whether OpenAI collapsing will take the rest of them with them. Perhaps the fact that the biggest player folds will cause investor fear over AI in general, but I'm not convinced, investors seems to be pretty moronic and shortsighted.
You should know that it isn't very close to what actually went down. It was the British forces who had negotiated this as part of the surrender deal with the German forces. It was British forces who oversaw the mineclearing process (in Denmark).
That is an incredibly wrong summation of events. It was the allied forces who literally wanted this, and it was them who carried out the main part of this process.
