Will they ridicule you for their own entertainment, or will they fulfil their basic duty to keep their children healthy and safe? I would expect the latter. Even if it is difficult for you to confess, you must still do it. I can't imagine that the situation will improve if you wait even longer. Good luck and strength to you.

  • I used to have some queerphobic friends myself, despite them being queer themselves. My final conversations with them were very strange. I value friends by quality and not quantity, even if it means having none for some time. From my experience, you'll eventually find good people who respect one another, no matter their differences. It's only a matter of time or your effort in finding them.

    P.S My mother always told me to listen to your gut feeling. If it doesn't feel right, it usually isn't.
