  • Using boost, it's fairly reliable and I enjoy it.

  • That's Runescape 3,except they are removing it all. Osrs has membership (effectively required for the game) and you can buy bonds so other players can buy membership with in game money. That's it.

  • Depends on the game. If audio is a huge part I use my headset, but most games I play these days I have on mute or close to (old school Runescape, Minecraft, TrackMania). Baldur's gate 3 and counter strike 2 are both fine on my laptop speakers although they do fairly good directional audio as long as it isn't in a horrible room for audio.

When I played Forza horizon that was mostly on mute too, or at least quiet enough to not be the primary audio.

I've tried using a headset for games but after like an hour or so it just feels like shit.

  • How the fuck do you get 300gb of podcasts? If I ran podcasts 24/7 for a month I doubt I'd even hit 50gb

  • That I'm alive I guess? Didn't expect to make it to 15,now almost 30.

Everything is still shit, but I got older instead of dead.

  • I mean, it can be. ive had menus reporting north of 1500fps.

There's no real benefit that high though, and even at like 500fps most professional players would be unaffected by more.

  • My friend has ADHD and 300 tabs. I'm pretty sure they are related.

  • I'm Aussie and work retail, people answer the question even when you don't ask it.

'whatcan I get for you today?'

    'good thank you'

    ....

  • I don't actually get that with drugs, just legal things

  • Not 10%? I thought tencents thing was they just have a 10% share in an absurd amount of stuff

  • Albanese isn't as good as I'd like but I have no regrets voting for him.

  • With literally 0 research I can confidently say the answer is yes

  • My 2008 still has one. As far as I can tell it's never been used, and the ash tray is pristine and unused, but it's got one.

  • I mean, people pay for Netflix or Amazon or whatever, why is YouTube different? It's my primary video platform and I watch more than 50 hours a week (I'm low balling that number to hell as well).

While paying is more convenient for me than breaking their shit, I'll pay. Also means creators actually get paid for my views as well

  • Between the age of my account and the fact I pay for premium, if they ever ask for ID they can go fuck themselves and I'll go back to as blockers and fresh accounts

  • I have a laptop, it's just unreasonable. Need the ability to just pick it up and walk off. I figure if I spend more time on my laptop than anything else it probably should be one of my most high end things.

  • I dedicate that much to vanilla minecraft, we have very different expectations on results I think. If I'm playing modded I dedicate 16 just so I don't ever have to worry about running out.

Firefox almost halved my browser ram usage back in the day though.

  • 7 years ago 16gb wasn't enough for me and all I do is play games and watch YouTube. 16gb means Minecraft + chrome crashed videos.

Now I have 32gb and don't use chrome and memory no longer causes any issues.

  • This is age of empires 2 with runescape text
