Maybe try Zulip? As far as I know the mastodon team uses it. You can self host it, has voip (via Jitsi) and an slack import function (according to their features page).
I don't know about speed running but I have high hopes for the german translation. Last time they fixed the grammar errors. Maybe just maybe they finally get the names right (and some other things). Litarally every name in the citadel of song is wrong or bad, missing the point of the names.
"Song clave" does not translate to "Sangesloge". And a vault ist not a "Spalte". It's a "Gewölbe". That's a cave or a hall with a high ceiling. That makes totally sense since we're talking of a church like building. And a "Spalte" is a break, a rift, a slot or a crack. That's not even near the meaning of vault. C'mon, use a dictionary if you don't know a word.
Sorry for my rant. But this annoys me so much. These are unnecessary errors that could have been avoided if they would have used the literal translation. Hopefully it will get better.
Yes and No. No, cause I was used to not talking characters. In Dark Souls the characters also do not talk. Afair they started talking in Sekiro.
Yes, cause it makes details like Shakra's name for Hornet possible. Shakra names her "child wielding needle" almost the whole game cause Hornet never tells her her name.
The music is peacefull, quite and (how do I put that?) organic and so is the area. It is the opposite of bellhart (which is haunted the first time you visited it) and blasted steps (a rocky & windy desert).
The point is to calm the player down. They had just fought moorwing and entered haunted bellhart. So they get a little bit of a more calm moment before going back to bellhart and fight widow.
Das kommt dabei raus, wenn man Deppen wie mich in die Gemeinschaft lässt, die außer dummen Sprüchen nix können. ;)
