The info I have read says, historically, nothing will come of these protests until 3.5% of the people take part and even then doing it for one day, on a weekend, is much less effective than days or even a weeks long shutdown
A "requirement to wear a body camera" doesn't mean much if there are no penalties for "forgetting to turn it on" or "forgetting to charge the battery" or "whoops I guess it broke and I didn't know"... which happens all the fucking time.
Essentially (but sadly) this is a useless charade. Using one of your days off work to march and shout slogans is not hitting (or hurting) anyone who is propping up this fascist regime. Do this sort of thing during the week. Shut cities down. Make people in the C-level suites notice an actual change to their bottom line or this is all nothing but theater preaching to the converted.
Has an offroad-capable vehicle so she can meet/follow me to those gorgeous, quiet, unpopulated, un/less-polluted, green places I like to hang out in as much as possible.
Mostly cell signal. I have a painter's pole that I put an omni-directional antenna on and an amplifier if need be but, most of the places I find that meet my other criteria (open enough for good solar, not recently logged etc) have a 4 out of 5 bars of either LTE or 5G service which is good enough for my needs. Was thinking about Starlink but can't easily get past the Elon connection...even now that the hardware cost just halved.
My local Costco stopped selling whole bean Pete's Major Dickason's blend. I asked why and got the answer that "we removed our grinders." Lame. No one else can possibly have their own grinder and want to grind their beans fresh daily.
That's the quickest route to becoming "woke" so we can't have that and still be in the club.
