  • I find it odd since they have added features that X doesn't have. The algorithm is designed to lower the visibility of spam/toxic posts. And when you reply, it opens the whole thread so you can read what others have said.

The dislike feature is in beta, this feedback should affect the algorithm that feeds your feed. They're also testing a way of prioritizing those you engage with (‘social-proximity’ metrics).

  • Other platforms are still hosting such videos. Vimeo, daily motion, dtube, odysee, plus just a search on a search engine pull up videos or other tutorials. While pulling it off of YouTube may make Microsoft sigh a breath of relief, the truth is out there.

  • That's literally the article's title. I added the extra because it was click-baity. A lot of communities require verbatim article titles. In the future I'll try to keep that in mind.

  • According to the Post, the hackers may have accessed emails as well as chat logs at the CBO.

  • 😏 Not sure the admins will allow those to be posted...

  • I would check with your doctor rather than soliciting advice from randos on the Internet.

That said, sleep apnea makes breathing on one's back difficult.

  • You want to work remotely in tech. I would look at places such as https://www.indeed.com/q-Remote-Tech-jobs.html?vjk=7909b7463088bb3a

Look at which certs they want and how much experience they want. Look at the salary. Look at the quality of life (are you on call 24/7?).

You may find that remote cybersecurity jobs are not plentiful. I searched "cyber security entry level" and Remote and found 2. I removed remote and found 300+ jobs.

1 has flexible hours and wants (likely requires) experience in Version control as well as Sec+

The other is full time, and wants a valid SSCP certification*, a bachelor's degree, and experience in operating systems.

The future is always changing what people do. In 1100 AD blacksmithing was a reliable career, and it remained that way into the 1800s. The 20th century kind of messed that career path down to a niche group. Blue collar work (be it construction, plumbing, etc.) so far has been pretty reliable.

  • The remarks echo what he said in September, when he told the Financial Times that AI will “create massive unemployment and a huge rise in profits,” attributing it to the capitalist system.

So if the middle and lower classes don't have jobs, the Wealthy are going to circulate money back and forth? So trickle-down becomes trickle-around? Trickle down doesn't work as intended. So trickle around is likely to fail, too.
