That's utter bullshit and belies a complete failure to understand art or art history (which is kind of refreshing I suppose because the luddites are usually vocal about their lack of understanding of the technology and subtle about their lack of understading about art history)
No because nfts were obviously stupid if you had half an understanding of the technology, whereas ai is only stupid if you don't understand the technology

I don't need to read this article to know that this problem I have read about elsewhere is not actually a problem with ai. Hamas would not exist if Israel didn't, it's true, but the opposition to Israel did not originally come from genocide, Israel was attacked almost immediately upon its foundation. Whether putting there was a good idea or not is debatable (well okay it was an awful idea, but one of the other places they considered was Yugoslavia, which I'm sure would have been perfectly safe!) but Hamas and their ilk did not appear in response to Israel committing genocide
I knew it would happen. Not painting Israel the the only bad guys is badwrongfun. The leadership on both sides are so far below decent people neither can see daylight - though Israel becoming fascist is more ironic, admitedly
More accurate would be "Committing genocide" and "Wants to commit genocide but doesn't have the guns", with the majority of the actual population on both sides (rather than the politicians and emboldened extremists) just wanting to not be genocided. Personally I'm picking the "chuck the politicians in a hole and let the people live" option. No idea what the ideal solution looks like but I feel like getting the fascists and religious extremists on both sides out of the equation would be a good starting point
We do have Pathfinder and 13th Age, both of which are better than 5e. They don't have the marketing budget though
