In 2003 I passed out at a Flaming Lips concert in Austin from heat or something, never really knew, but the staff pulled me to the side and when I woke up I saw Gibby watching the concert. I sprung up and went up to Gibby for a pic. He was nice and slapped my chest then took a pic with me. When I looked at my chest, he gave me a backstage pass to meet the Flaming Lips. Unfortunately I was way to nervous back then and never went back to hangout with the Flaming Lips. Great night either way.
It also makes everything sound similar without creating defining albums of a genre. I might sound old, but to me, most new music has a pop shine to it, no matter the genre.
