  • I doubt it's the harsh weather that prevents mosquitos. They probably just never made it to the island before and now made it on a plane or boat finally.

In Canada you'll find hellish mosquitos up in the Arctic circle which has a much colder climates than Iceland I believe.

  • Seriously. If you wouldn't fine them for littering by dumping the coffee on the pavement right beside the drain (which it would washinto on the first rainstorm) then they shouldn't fine them for anything by dumping it directly into the drain.

No one is going to get fined for dumping coffee on the sidewalk. But they might get fined for dumping oil or paint on the sidewalk.

  • But you could still save a copy of yourself each morning and then if you die, recreate your last save point, no? Then you only lose a day.

Maybe a yearly save point too incase theres any long term thing you don't catch fast enough like cancer...

  • I also work with people who get paid to do manual data entry. I would be skeptical of any close results, you will probably get a different number each time it's counted.

  • That doesn't fly where I live, not sure about Nebraska though.

Where I live if you label someone's position as management they are still entitled to overtime unless 95% of their time is actually spent doing management. So the assistant manager in retail can help out on the cash register a bit if needed, but not do sales one day a week and the rest of the time management without overtime.

  • Seriously, why do they even care? It's not like people are threating violence or even cursing each other out.

  • Yikes, someone I know was planning on going in may. Wonder if this will affect their decision.

  • I think it would be a nice thing to include as not everyone wants to interact with other players if they don't need to. But I don't think it should be an obligation.

It sounds like a concept that I could enjoy, but I probably won't play it if there isn't a PvE mode. I play video games so I don't have to interact with people. But I'm not going to buy it knowing there isn't a PvE mode and then complain that there isn't one.

  • 3-5 years to rebuild Gaza?

Damn, my city cant even expand the highway by one lane in 5 years.

  • Yeah I was more thinking the mouse be free plus any replacements in the future.

Then you would break even after about 5 years ($60)

  • But if that's normal for a person, wouldn't it still be concerning that these people are seeking out a product which effectively doubles the normal amount someone not on the supplement typically consumes naturally?

If the average person consumes 0.1 / kg of body weight, wouldn't this make it so they are now consuming 0.2 / kg of body weight?

I know it's still not %1600 and instead a %100 increase but still could be concerning.

  • I've never understood why it matter if something is technically food or a supplement or something else.

If it is meant to be ingested or absorbed by a human, shouldn't it have the same regulations?

  • Honestly I wouldn't mind if a company charged like, $1/month or something reasonable like that but for some reason some asshole made it standard practice to charge $10-$15/month for literally anything and now everyone uses that as the starting point for their "services"

  • Lol, the US economy.... It will go to billionaires who won't pay taxes and buy stuff from overseas anyways.

  • There a free to play online game called Palia that's pretty chill.

Not as farm intensive as stardew, but you do have a few plots to grow crops and you can refine them into jams and pickled goods, etc.

Can also cook your food into meals, give gifts to villagers to build up relationships, and each villager has a story and background to learn.

There is also mining, tree felling, plant foraging, animal hunting, fishing, etc.

It's a first person 3D world, and I haven't tried it with controller but I imagine it would be fine.

It's very chill, there is pretty much no negatives for any action or inaction that you take.

Oh also you can build your house on your plot of land and decorate it with a shit ton of decorative furniture and nic knacks.

Main storyline quests are not too bad either, there is a story to the world that develops as well.

  • Ya I hate it when people tell me what they want for their birthday or whatever.

Because if I had already been planning on getting it I'm like "GOD DAMNIT now they'll think I only got it because they told me to and not because I know exactly what they wanted and was listening to them in the conversation we had about it 3 months ago!"

I also hate gift cards, because you might as well just give cash which can at least be used to pay the bills if need be instead of forcing them to buy something they don't really need.

  • It does sound like drunk behaviour. Or maybe even old person behaviour.

  • So, if you're a legal immigrant and get "randomly" asked for your paperwork, you have to produce it on the spot or face a fine?

What if you're a legal immigrant and just say you were born here? No native born citizen carries around their passport

Or can they also fine native born white Americans for their birth certificate and fine them if they don't have it? But we just don't hear about it because they don't bother "randomly" checking white people?

  • It helped that Reddit got rid of 3rd party apps.

Because I only used Reddit 100% on mobile, and their app is horrendous.
