  • That I can't help with, sorry. I only use it for its direct download option from GetComics. Never used it for torrents.

  • Mylar3 is my preference. I tried Kapowarr but had some issues with it, too.

  • Yup, exactly this. It's also the most expensive component so if the PC were to get lost, I'd at least still have the GPU.

  • I carried my drives and GPU in my carry on and shipped the PC. That's what I'd recommend.

  • Something I never fully understood with file versioning is on which side to apply it. The source or the receiving end?

  • Worth checking out Mealie, too. Can't say how it compares to Tandoor or Kitchenowl but I've been happy with Mealie for years now.

  • Actual Budget if you're more into envelope budgeting. I came from YNAB and could not get the same workflow out of Firefly as I could YNAB. Actual Budget does provide that.

I do think setting up HTTPS is required for Actual so if you don't have that yet, then Firefly is the way to go.

  • In Qbittorrent you can tell it to not download certain files. So you can tell it to ignore anything with *arj, for example.

I've had this happen with people pretending to be certain groups and making the file a .lnk (a link to a website, I assume). Sonarr will still send the file to Qbittorrent, but it won't get downloaded at all.
