Samtidigt må det amerikansk militær bevise, at de har et løfte overfor forfatningen, ikke præsidenten, og militærets reaktion (for eller imod) afgør endegyldigt overfor befolkningen og hele verden hvilken slags stat det er.

    TLDR, jeg kan ikke forestille mig, at USA virkelig tager skridt imod Grønland eller andre dele af NATO.

    Kan godt være at investorerne ikke har noget med Trump at gøre, men timingen nu giver et dårligt indtryk. Desuden lugter amerikanske investorer altid af udnyttelse, profitgrådighed og tilsidesætte af love for miljø og arbejdskraft.

    What use is a high energy beam that last for an almost immeasurably short period of time? How can it even be said that it has this power output, in such a short time?

    "Zero-POW!-zero" sounds unbelievable to normal humans. No ramp-up? No sizzling out?

    On such a short time scale, what's the actual Wh used? It can't be very much, so the actual energy delivered can hardly do anything at all, either.

    And finally, what's even the point of this? What's the purpose? What's the end goal? Why?

  • No worries, happy for you. I installed and tested it. Pleasantly surprised that it can do many languages and many layouts, even obscure ones like Colemak-dh.

    But several languages don't have autocorrect and you'd have to find (or create) then install a language file manually. Reasonable given the alpha version, but not good enough for me yet.

  • It's really not that expensive in comparison, especially when you count the tourism factor which is absolutely significant.

    Go to London, or Copenhagen, or Stockholm, and see the Changing of the Guards. Do that on any random Tuesday - and notice the crowds of people that watch.

    And, as has been said already, at least in Scandinavia the monarchs have high cultural value and are very well liked, on top of having important roles in keeping government going. They aren't freeloaders, and there isn't a huge upper class attached.
