  • This is why we will never trust you guys again up here in Canada. Even if Trump and his crew all died tomorrow and somehow the friendliest, nicest person became the president, it wont matter. The relationship is done for.

  • People dont use the word 'package' here when referring to work benefits so thats why I was confused. Anyway I dont know because I have a salaried government job. Most people I know in the private sector get between 3-4 weeks paid vacation but I cant say thats the norm for sure. Just look it up if you really want to know.

  • Yeah this is just the minimum. Most provinces also have a provision that it must be raised after five and then ten years of employment.

  • Lol. Its not a package. Its protected by law. Most provinces require employers to allow two weeks minimum. Which isnt a lot tbh.

  • I live in Canada. It would take me 3 days.

    Anyway you dont have to go to the capital to put up resistance. This isnt 18th century France.

    I'll give you an example. My country was practically shut down for a week by a handful of people because they organized and blocked the railroads. Canada is highly dependant on its rail freight.

    Not saying that works in the US. Just that there are ways if resisting that dont involve marching with some signs in the street. Your government doesnt care. Protests wont work.
